Why we exist
It started at a car wash.
In 1994 I took a part-time job washing cars for $5.75 an hour to support my family. Six months later I was promoted to assistant manager. Within a year I was running my own car wash and managing eleven people. I was twenty years old, getting a rare early taste of corporate America. Everything since has been built on one lesson I learned there: you have to believe in yourself and speak life into your situation every single day.
Let me be clear. God opened that door. He gave me a career in corporate America, and that career gave me access to rooms where I was the only person who looked like me. I stayed anyway. I kept innovating, kept building, kept showing up as myself. Leaving would have told the room they were right to be surprised I was there.
This brand is an expression of what God has been whispering in my ear all these years.
I believe the words we speak, the words we wear, and the words we hold onto determine what we walk into. So in 2025 I started Bell+Crown Collective. Not as a clothing brand first, but as a visible reminder of our value, our purpose, and who we belong to: our Savior Yeshua. Every design is a signal. Every piece is a crown you can put on before you walk into the room.
